25.10.19 Dull…

The wind direction has switched back to a familiar south westerly direction, which sculpts the hawthorns and is usually crap for birds.

Goldcrest

Virtually no overhead migration today other than a couple of small parties of Goldfinch that may well have just been local feeding flocks. A few Goldcrest at all sites visited all though much reduced in numbers when compared with yesterday.

On paper midweek should have been more productive, visible migration numbers aside there was little of interest.
