23.03.23

A bright morning with a very strong SW wind.

A pleasant enough morning, several skeins of migrating Brent Geese passed high over the headland some from a NW direction all heading east totalling c140, very evocative to see and hear them heading off so purposefully at height. There was a small arrival of Firecrest and Chiffchaff with about 10 of each seen and heard between Belle Tout and Shooters.

One of today’s Firecrest amongst some Blackthorn.

Chiffchaff feeding in the shelter of Belle Tout Wood.
