07.05.21 A fall day

Overnight NW wind and crystal clear skies produced probably the busiest morning of the spring on land. I played catch up trying to connect with a few birds before work having incorrectly assumed it would be quiet under such clear skies. Andrew Whitcomb, Jake Gearty, Richard Butler and Bob Edger where also out.

Highlights included, 2 female Pied Flycatcher, Spotted Flycatcher, 5+ Common Redstart, 1 Black Redstart, 6+ Whinchat, a Cuckoo, singing Reed Warbler, 50+ Willow Warbler.
