Another day of very strong NE wind, starting overcast but quickly becoming cloudless.

A day of lean pickings with no sign of yesterdays Hoopoe anywhere along the 10km walked today! A tame lone Whimbrel in gardens at Birling Gap, 3 Wheatear, c8 Willow Warbler in various spots, my first Lesser Whitethroat of the year singing in Shooters Bottom along with a single Ring Ouzel there being the only notables.
