21.3.21 Little-ringed Plover

A continuum of cold but light NE airflow with cloud clearing by midmorning.

Beachy Head was cool, overcast and quiet bird wise although a few Chiffchaff had made landfall over night with 10+ between Birling Gap and Michel Dean. In pursuit of more stimulating avian interest I once again made the short journey across Eastbourne to West Rise Marsh were a single Little-ringed Plover was the highlight. Also a 3cy Yellow-legged Gull, Oystercatcher, 2 Jack Snipe, 2 White Wagtail amongst c30 Pied Wagtail and both the Siberian Chiffchaff were still showing well and calling occasionally.
