Pied Flycatcher in Eastbourne

Always a sort after spring migrant, this male Pied Flycatcher was found by Kris Gillam in the unexpected location of Gildredge Park. A small manicured recreational space in Eastbourne.

A regular autumn migrant, spring Pied Flycatchers are barely annual on Beachy Head in recent years. Even that probably exaggerates their frequency.

Pied Flycatcher.

Always a treat to see a black and white male in spring.
