5th June 2015 – Hobby

One of 4 Hobby hawking insects over the gallops at Butchers Hole today.

The last few days have brought the first flush of summer weather, not much to report from the last week or so, which has been fairly busy with work obligations. 2/3 Crossbill over the house this morning were heard but not seen. Nightingale were still in full song at Abbotts Wood on the 4th June and I caught up with the local (ish) Red-footed Falcon at Barcomb Mills on the evening of the 31st May.
