A beautifully warm and still morning with sea fog sitting just off shore. Overnight the skies remained clear, well into the early hours, enabling yesterday birds to move on. Other than a singing Firecrest in Belle Tout and a Willow Warbler in Shooters Bottom, I was virtually unable to find any migrants this morning. The Ring Ouzel was still present, now into it’s 4th day of residence. Surely he has somewhere to get to?
Yesterday evening the sea mist sat just off shore but below Beachy Head resulting in a spectacular end to the day. The likes of which I have not seen before! Some photo’s below.
